Wed jan 6 powerball

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $410 million ($316.4 million cash value) for the January 6 drawing. This is the highest the Powerball jackpot has been since March 2019 when a $768.4 million jackpot was won in Wisconsin.

A lot of Powerball players kicked off the New Year by winning cash prizes in the January 2 drawing – more than 1.3 million tickets won prizes ranging from $4 to $2 million! One ticket in Arizona matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize. Another ticket in Connecticut matched all five white balls and doubled the $1 million prize to $2 million by including the Power Play option for an additional $1.

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in New York in the September 16 drawing. Since then, there have been 31 drawings in a row without a Grand Prize winner. Wednesday’s drawing will be the 32nd draw in the jackpot run. Since the jackpot was last won, there have been more than 19.5 million winning tickets across all prize tiers, including 20 tickets that have won $1 million and 10 tickets that have won $2 million.

2020 produced seven Powerball jackpot-winning tickets:

Jan. 29, 2020 – $396.9 million – Florida

Feb. 12, 2020 – $70 million – Michigan

April 8, 2020 – $190 million – New Jersey
