How to Play Eurojackpot

Simply select five main numbers from 1 to 50 and then two additional Euro numbers from 1 to 10. As the Euro numbers are drawn from a different set of balls to the main numbers, it is possible for the same number to appear as both a main number and a Euro number in the same result.

You can select your own numbers or use the ‘Quick Pick’ option when buying tickets to randomly generate a set of numbers. Alternatively, you can use the Random Number Generator before you purchase your ticket to find a set of numbers you like.

There are 12 prize tiers on offer in Eurojackpot, and anyone who matches all five main numbers and both Euro numbers in the draw will win a share of the jackpot, which starts at €10 million. If nobody matches all of the numbers in a draw, the jackpot will roll over into the next draw, until it reaches its cap of €90 million.

Eurojackpot tickets can be bought online or through authorised retail stores in a participating country.

Play Eurojackpot Online

Buying Eurojackpot tickets online is the easiest and safest way to play, as your tickets will be stored in your online account and automatically checked on your behalf. If you win a prize, you will be notified straight away and the winnings will be paid into your account for you to withdraw or use on future ticket purchases. Getting started with playing online is simple:

  1. Open an online account with the lottery operator in your country
  2. Complete your account registration (this may include verifying your age)
  3. Add funds to your account
  4. Buy Eurojackpot tickets using your account balance

Play Eurojackpot via a Retail Store

If you live in a participating country, you can play Eurojackpot by buying tickets from an authorised retail store. Play cards will be available for you to mark out which numbers you want to play. After that, you hand the play card to the cashier to receive a ticket confirming your numbers and the draw (or draws) for which the ticket is valid. You will need to keep your ticket safe, as it will act as proof of your winnings if you win a prize. You should also sign the back of your ticket to demonstrate proof of ownership and to avoid legal disputes should you lose the ticket and someone else tries to claim the prize.

Playing Eurojackpot from a Non-Participating Country

If you’re on holiday or are living in a non-participating country, you can still buy Eurojackpot tickets. Visit the Playing Abroad page for more details.

How to Play

Get three sets of numbers to play for $1 Add Combo for $1 to combine matches and win more! JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpots start at $250,000 and can roll over to up to $2 million if there isn’t a jackpot winner. To play, ask the clerk for a ticket or pick up a JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY playslip at an authorized Florida Lottery retailer. Each playslip contains five panels (A-E). In each panel:

  1. Select or Quick Pick the first six numbers from 1 through 46 and the second and third set of numbers will automatically be Quick Pick. Each set of numbers prints on its own line and is played separately.
  2. For an extra chance to win up to $10,000 by combining winning number matches from all three sets of numbers, select the Combo box. Combo costs $1 more per play. JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY with Combo tickets cannot be cancelled.
  3. To play the same numbers for more than one draw, select the number of draws you want to play in the Advance Play section of your playslip or tell the retailer how many advance draws you wish to play.
  4. Give your completed playslip and payment to the retailer. You will receive a ticket printed with your numbers and draw date(s) played. If you played multiple plays, each play will print on a separate ticket. Please check your ticket(s) before you leave the store. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ticket(s).
  5. Check the official drawing results to see if you’re a winner! Draw results are available on this website, at authorized Florida Lottery retailers and by calling (850) 921-PLAY (7529). You may also watch the drawings online.

Drawings are held Tuesday and Friday nights at 11:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Tickets may be purchased until 10:40 p.m. Eastern Time on the night of the draw. Tickets purchased after 10:40 p.m. will be for the next draw.

If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket.

Please remember: All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the applicable draw date.

The Florida Lottery will hold official JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY drawings where six numbers from 1 to 46 will be drawn at random. If no JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY ticket matches all six winning numbers, the top prize pool rolls over to the next draw until it reaches $2 million. After the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpot reaches $2 million and there is no jackpot winner, the amount in the jackpot prize pool in excess of the funds required for a $2 million annuity will roll down to increase the prize payouts on all of the lower-tier cash prizes. JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY winners may choose to receive their portion of the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpot in a one-time Cash Option payment or in 25 annual payments. The Cash Option payment is the amount required on the day of the drawing (or if the drawing is held on a holiday, the business day prior to the drawing) to fund the applicable jackpot prize over 25 years, less applicable taxes. JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpot winners who want to receive a single Cash Option payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days of the 180-day redemption period. Applicable federal income taxes will be withheld from both Cash Option and annual payments at the time payments are made. Read more about claiming Lottery prizes.

When you select Combo, players can combine matches from all three sets of numbers for an additional chance to win based on how many numbers match the winning numbers drawn. You can win up to four times on a single JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY with Combo ticket.

Please remember: All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the applicable draw date.
