QS Latin America University Rankings 2021

This year’s ranking of the top Latin American universities features 410 institutions, making it the biggest Latin America ranking we’ve ever published. Brazil, Mexico and Colombia are the most-represented study destinations and account for more than half of all ranked universities.

This year’s rankings has been constructed using eight indicators, including academic and employer reputation. For more information, consult our methodology .

Containing 400 institutions, this year’s ranking of universities from Emerging Europe & Central Asia is our largest ever. Almost half of all the universities included this year hail from just two study destinations: Russia and Turkey. Other locations to feature significantly include Kazakhstan, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Czech Republic and Hungary.
